Now, Discover your strengths [Audiobook]

By Markus Buckingham & Donald Clifton I used to spend all my time at thinking about and working on the things I couldn’t do well. I never really spent time thinking about my strengths. After reading this book, I began to spend more time working on what I did well, to do it even better, while continuing to work on weakness areas, but without that being the focal point of every practice. Having a strengths based mindset is really helpful and this book has a great test to help you figure out what your strengths in life might be and how to best use them as well!

The 8th Habit by Stephen R. Covey [Audiobook]

The 8th Habit by Stephen R. Covey
Publisher: Covey | ISBN 1929494785 | 2004 Year | Audiobook | Language: English | 200MB (High Quality-CD quality)

In the more than fifteen years since its publication, the classic The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People has become an international phenomenon with over fifteen million copies sold. Tens of millions of people in business, government, schools, and families, and, most important, as individuals have dramatically improved their lives and organizations by applying the principles of Stephen R. Covey's classic book.

The world, though, is a vastly changed place. The challenges and complexity we all face in our relationships, families, professional lives, and communities are of an entirely new order of magnitude.

Being effective as individuals and organizations is no longer merely an option -- survival in today's world requires it. But in order to thrive, innovate, excel, and lead in what Covey calls the new Knowledge Worker Age, we must build on and move beyond effectiveness. The call of this new era in human history is for greatness; it's for fulfillment, passionate execution, and significant contribution.

Accessing the higher levels of human genius and motivation in today's new reality requires a sea change in thinking: a new mind-set, a new skill-set, a new tool-set -- in short, a whole new habit. The crucial challenge of our world today is this: to find our voice and inspire others to find theirs. It is what Covey calls the 8th Habit.

So many people feel frustrated, discouraged, unappreciated, and undervalued -- with little or no sense of voice or unique contribution. The 8th Habit is the answer to the soul's yearning for greatness, the organization's imperative for significance and superior results, and humanity's search for its "voice." Profound, compelling, and stunningly timely, this groundbreaking new book of next-level thinking gives a clear way to finally tap the limitless value-creation promise of the Knowledge Worker Age.

Covey's new book will transform the way we think about ourselves and our purpose in life, about our organizations, and about humankind. Just as The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People helped us focus on effectiveness, The 8th Habit shows us the way to greatness.

I am america (and so can you) [Audiobook] (bestseler)

I Am America (And So Can You!) is a book by the satirical master, Stephen Colbert. Feeling as if there is not enough time to express himself fully, he extends his views and compiles it into this book. Though the real Stephen Colbert is very liberal, he uses an intensely conservative view on issues in America to bring a humorous and ironic twist. Some parts will have you laughing uncontrollably while other parts are just so ridiculous, a chuckle is necessary. However, the book, overall, is just too over the top and too sarcastic to be taken seriously. Unlike his show in which props and visual aids add another level of enjoyment and interactivity, the book does not bring the same. The games and puzzles that are sporadically implemented just serve as distractions. Overall, the books humor can be appreciated, but it can be more subtle in presenting it.

[Audio book] The magic of thinking big (best seller)

Benjamin Disraeli once said that “Life is too short to be little” and when you think about Schwartz’s work, that one quote might be the best motto for him. In doing his research for The Magic of Thinking big, what Schwartz found out was that rather than there being too many leaders in the world, the opposite was actually true. More leaders are needed and therefore rather than being something that is tied to talent, luck or circumstance, success is far more a choice than anything else. Some people choose to lead while others choose to follow and Schwartz was able to tie this element of choice to the success of some of the biggest people in the world at that time.

People that are successful in life, according to Schwartz, are people that take time out of their day to do thinking in solitude and they are people that make sure to think big and act big at all times. This is the type of thought and action that is required to become successful in today’s world and Schwartz had the blueprint for success down almost forty years ago. This is why he is thought of as being one of the best self-help gurus to ever live and this is of course why his book The Magic of Thinking Big is still something that is read by every aspiring person that wants to be successful today.

One of great audio books to listen!!!
